How about Interstellar? That's a recent movie relatively seen by all.

Oh my. I thought of mentioning that... It is such an epic and inspirational film; one of Nolan's best.

I still haven't had the chance to watch it yet.

Has anyone else started watching iZombie?

I think so too, it has one of the best visuals and soundtrack I have ever seen. The best word I can put it is that it's ambitious. The plot was rich but the script was lacking and that's really common with the Nolan brothers. It's a movie where you either love it or hate it. I think it dragged on too long, Nolan had a habit of making the characters talk to the audience and not each other. Stuff like that, Interstellar's ending was not Nolan's traditional ending as with his other movies (Memento, The Prestige, Inception).

Nope, but on the topic of TV shows, I feel like today's TV shows are lacking in cinematography. Does anyone feel this way?

I noticed this for awhile now and I wondered if it was either a budget thing or a time thing.

House of Cards is, in my opinion, the epitome of television cinematography. It's using a teal/blue scheme, the picture frame in the first picture is highlighted for design/importance. The next two pictures is how House of Cards is breaking the 180 rule. This disorientates the audience. The camera is focused on Frank at all times stating that he's in control, he's power.

I feel like shows right now (popular shows such as CW shows) don't really focus on cinematography.

I don't think it's a budget thing either, I think it's a director thing: Example: Fargo TV vs Gotham.
