That ending was so damn disappointing. Jeffrey Dean Morgan nailed it as Negan but ending it as a cliffhanger was stupid beyond belief. It's just been cliffhanger after cliffhanger this season.

It's always been a cliffhanger, this season isn't any different.

I don't give a fuck! I wanted to see someone get beaten with Lucille!

EDIT:

Cliffhanger wasn't the exact word I was looking for. What I meant was they kept teasing deaths that it has lost its effect. Glenn and the dumpster, Daryl and Dwight, and now Negan and whoever.

The scene with Negan was supposed to make the audience fear him and despise him. They (the showrunners/developers/whatever they're called) succeeded in making people fear him but not hate him. The act of killing off a beloved character was supposed to do that but they've left it for season 7. Not even the comic ended that way, it wasn't afraid to beat the living hell out of [spoiler]. And in my opinion, it could have been the best episode if they had killed off a character then and there. Instead they decided to drag it out and make us wait a couple of months. They blueballed us, for a lack of a better word.

Also, something Negan said to Carl "cry a little" suggests we won't get to see that scene in the comics between those two, which is a shame.
