This is the thread for all things to do with Sony's Amazing Spider-Man franchise.

So there's a rumor going around that a certain actress may be sticking around for a bit longer than we thought.

I'd say take it with a grain of salt though. In addition, a certain blood red symbiote will be joining Venom on the big screen.

Are they forgetting they rebooted Spider-Man? He has to wear the black suit first in a movie, THEN, bring Venom into a spin off with Carnage. Damn it! I want to see this character portrayed right this time! It can't be rushed. Eddie had a grudge with Spidey, yes, but he still had a big heart and would go out of his way to protect the innocent. I know some people are tired of symbiotes by now but I want to see a good story with them on the big screen... Not that tiny wimpy excuse for a Venom, that was just purely scripted as a villain. "I like being bad. It makes me happy." NOT Venom!

Anyways, sorry for my rant. I just feel strongly for these characters. Hell, if Carnage was done perfect, we'd have a rated R marvel movie.

Don't need an R rating for Carnage.

Perhaps but I always picture the serial killer gone super villain in an uncensored horror film like scenario. It's the potential the character has.

The Amazing Spider Man 2 ending was LAME. I mean 2 minutes of Rhino, and 5 minutes of Green Goblin? WTF?!

I remember posting something on Batwave saying that they could bring back Emma Stone with red hair, but I never took it seriously.

While the use of the villains at the end(especially Rhino) was lame, the ending was handled quite well.
Spoiler!

IMO, the Rhino's presence helped strengthen the closing message along with the final scene then if it was some random thugs.
